Arizona blinked his eyes open, unsure of how long he had slept. His head was pounding though, and he felt so nauseous it wasn’t even funny. He groaned and rolled onto his side his arms covering his head and eyes. He curled into a ball and groaned again. He felt miserable and hungry but oh so sick. A moment later his wave of nausea subsided and he sat up. He stood up and pulled on his clothes which was a new pair of pants which were too small length wise and a blue striped shirt. He sighed and looked around, looking for Alabama. He needed to talk to her now.
He left the sleeping room and saw her just as she left the building taking the trash out. He quickly followed her out into the already to hot sun. “Alabama, Wait up.” He said to her coming to a stop close behind her, trying to think of what to say next.
She spun around and glared at him. “I have nothing to say to you.” She started to walk past him but he reached out and grabbed her arm to stop her.
“No, hear me out, please.” He said, his eyes begging.
“I’m sorry, I can’t hear you when your face is stuck to some other girl’s” She snapped, it stung him physically and he winced.
“Look, that was a mistake.” He started, shifting his weight. “I don’t love her. And I don’t think I ever did.”
“Really? Well, that’s a change from a month ago. My, your emotions change quickly. “You took her. You can’t have it both ways.”
“Goddamn it Alabama, I don’t want her, I want you.” He told her, exasperation deep in his voice.
“Well maybe you should’ve thought of that before you stuck your face on hers.” She clenched her fists, “Why the hell would I believe a word you said after that, huh? You promised me it was me and only me, remember? That day in the mattress room? Ring a bell, jackass?”
“She kissed me, I didn’t kiss her. And of course I remember that day, Its what I was thinking about when she kissed me.” He sighed a look of pain on his face and in his eyes. “Please believe me.”
“But you still kissed her! That’s the fucking point!” Her hands flew up then rested on the top of her head.

“It didn’t mean anything though!” He yelled in response. He searched her face his chest searing and squeezing in agony.
“I don’t care what it meant!” she replied angrily. “You lied to me. You took a fucking sledgehammer to my heart and no mere band-aid of an ‘I’m sorry’ can fix that!”
“What do I have to do to make you see that I love you!?” He yelled in anger, despite the pain in his eyes.
“You can’t.” She snapped before she stormed into the kitchen. Arizona stood there for a minute his breath picking up a pace before he turned, his fist flying into the wall before him. Pain erupted in his knuckles as his scabbed over wounds reopened and left a dark smear of blood on the wall. He followed her into the kitchen but at a slower pace, ignoring the pain and blood that flowed from his still clenched fist. He had to make things right again.
He walked into the kitchen and stopped, there were seven people, plus Alabama, two of the people he didn’t recognize, the rest he did. He almost stumbled as he finished walking in, a thin sheen of sweat covering his skin, his breathing already a little labored. Why is it so damn hot? He wondered before he stopped and looked at those before him.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to interrupt.” He said his eyes meeting everyone but Alabama.
“Arizona, right?” Party smiled at him. “Welcome to the party” Arizona nodded to him, a look of confusion on his face.
“Dude, you stink.” the short one, Fun Ghoul said making a face.
“Yeah, I got that.” He said rather aggravated as he stumbled into the kitchen a little more. He felt as if he were about to vomit, his shirt was already wet from his perspiration, while his chest ached with a pain that made it hard to breath. He leaned on the table, and shuddered despite how he was sweating. He coughed once then closed his eyes. He opened them again and waited, unsure of what was wrong.
“Arizona, are you okay?” Widows asked his eyes brows going up.
“Y-yeah” Arizona said rubbing his face with his bleeding hand. A second later his chest contracted and he let out a fit of grotesque sounding coughs. After his coughing fit, his breath was shallow and rather quick as he tried to pretend he was fine with a weak smile.
“Are you-” Widows started to ask but another round of coughs ripped through his chest. He finished coughing and started to speak, but the words never left his mouth, instead everything around him turned into a colorful mess, all fuzzy and confusing. Faintly he heard Alabama speak so he turned his eyes to her, to tell her he loved her, but before he could get the words out, everything turned dark and he slumped over falling out of his seat and onto the ground.
